The 2025  Geneseo Cat Tour information will be here as soon as it is available!

 

We will gather together to start the cat tour in the Village of Geneseo at 30 Center Street! 

 

Feel free to dress in cat-themed attire!

Cosmic Charlie's Café will be on site if you're  hungry for a purrrrito, and there will be live music by Whisky Tango and games too! Music, voting on your favorite Geneseo Cat Tour cat, and walking tour are free, activity tickets are given in exchange for donations.

​

Activities on site: Mini pet portraits, bouquet making, milk flights, sticker-pick, and prize raffle!

There will be cat-ear headbands and beverage containers (coffee, tea, juice) available in exchange for donations to Hearthside Cats! Hearthside's wish list for donation items can be found HERE.

Cats and kittens up for adoption will be on site to adopt after the walk!

Answers to your  burning questions:

Q. Will I be able to hold and pet all of the neighborhood cats?

A. No! These are cats! We will view them however they like to be viewed  as we pass on the sidewalk (hanging out in a window, in their owner's arms, or outside on their lawn). Consider adopting a cat at our event to have one to snuggle up with at home!

Q. How long will the walk be?

A. The tour is a 1.5  mile walk on sidewalks in the Village of Geneseo. Final route posted below!

Q. What will we do if it rains?

A. Check your email for any cancellations. For light rain, we will continue as planned!  There is no scheduled rain date.

Q. How can my cat be part of the tour?

A. Register your cat/home on our website by August 31st and if you live along the chosen walk route we will contact you! Cost is $10 per  house.

​

Q. Do we know how weird this is?
