We will gather together to start the cat tour in the Village of Geneseo at 30 Center Street! There is plenty of parking at a nearby lot and along the street.

Event runs 3:30pm to 7pm, official walk leaves at 5:30pm.

Cosmic Charlie's Café will be on site if you're  hungry for a purrrrito, and there will be live music and games too! Music, whisker station, voting on your favorite Geneseo Cat Tour cat, and walking tour are free, activity tickets are given in exchange for donations.

Activities on site: Mini pet portraits, bouquet making, milk flights, plush and live cat adoptions, and prize raffle!

There will be cat-ear headbands and beverage containers (coffee, tea) available in exchange for donations to Hearthside Cats! Hearthside's wish list for donation items can be found HERE.

Cats and kittens up for adoption will be on site to adopt after the walk! You can also apply to become a foster for cats in need through Hearthside Cats.

Answers to your  burning questions:

Q. Will I be able to hold and pet all of the neighborhood cats?
A. No! These are cats! We will view them however they like to be viewed  as we pass on the sidewalk (hanging out in a window, in their owner's arms, or outside on their lawn). Consider adopting a cat at our event to have one to snuggle up with at home!

Q. How long will the walk be?
A. The tour is a 1.3  mile walk or less on sidewalks in the Village of Geneseo. Final route posted the week of the event! We will have a water station and some music along the route too. 














Q: Can I bring my cat?
A: Sure! Make sure they have a way to feel safe while they are there like a carrier, backpack, or leash. If you are willing to make them part of the tour, please get in touch! You do not need to live in Geneseo to show off your favorite feline friend!

Q. What will we do if it rains?
A. Check your email for any cancellations. For light rain, we will continue as planned!  There is no scheduled rain date.

Q. How can my cat be part of the tour?
A. Register your cat/home on our website by September 15th!
